Xiaomi has introduced its new charging technology which features a 200W wired charging and 120W wireless charging. The company demonstrated a 1 – 100% charge in 8 minutes in its YouTube video here.
This makes Xiaomi’s HyperCharger the fastest mobile phone charger succeeding the OPPO 125W Fast Charge. Critics predict this fast charger could quickly degrade battery life and cause high battery temperatures.
There’s no news on when this will be publicly available. But we can expect it to be released in the near future alongside its new smartphones.
